AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Israeli occupation army announced, on Wednesday morning, the arrest of a Palestinian at the Al-Jib checkpoint near the occupied city of al-Quds (Jerusalem), for allegedly holding a knife in his procession.
Israeli media sources reported that the Israeli soldiers stationed at the Al-Jib checkpoint northwest of al-Quds stopped a Palestinian car that approached the soldiers, claiming its driver was holding a knife in his procession.
A spokeswoman for the Israeli police claimed that the Israeli soldiers arrested a Palestinian "suspect" after he approached the Al-Jib checkpoint while holding a knife.
The arrested Palestinian was immediately taken for interrogation, the Israeli sources added.
No injuries were reported in the alleged attack.
